Together with wheelchair users, sponsors, funders, partners and of course our dedicated team, we have already achieved incredible things. Our brilliant family of supporters has been working hard to champion wheelchair users throughout the UK. We launched The Wheelchair Collective, the first national council of wheelchair users, that brings together ambassadors from every nation and region of the UK. We have also successfully lobbied government to review the outdated laws on powered mobility devices with the launch of a public consultation. Our mission is to ensure that every wheelchair user gets the right chair, at the right time. This is a special type of company which exists to benefit a specific community, namely the community of wheelchair users in England. We took this important step so that we could look for sponsors to help us achieve what we have set out to do in our strategy. All the  Board Members of the Wheelchair Alliance volunteer their time, however we do have to fund things such as your website, some administrative support and project work which gathers evidence helping us lobby for change.
