The work of The Wheelchair Alliance CIC is and will continue to improve both the awareness of the needs of wheelchair users and works to support the improvement of access to the necessary guidance, information and ultimately access to the right wheelchairs for users.
Our volunteers work tirelessly to pursue the vision and the mission of the Wheelchair Alliance CIC and any contribution you are able to make will help us to grow our activities with the aim of improving the lives of wheelchair users everywhere.
We thank you in advance for any support you may be able to provide.
“Wheelchair users need to be heard by the people shaping services, policy and access. I hope The Wheelchair Collective can help turn lived experience into practical change, so wheelchair users have fairer, faster and more consistent support wherever they live.” – Lee Cairns, Midlands representative for The Wheelchair Collective
At the Alliance, we are committed to representing the voice of wheelchair users throughout the UK.
Together with wheelchair users, sponsors, funders, partners and of course our dedicated team, we have already achieved incredible things.
Our brilliant family of supporters has been working hard to champion wheelchair users throughout the UK. We launched The Wheelchair Collective, the first national council of wheelchair users, that brings together ambassadors from every nation and region of the UK.
We have also successfully lobbied government to review the outdated laws on powered mobility devices with the launch of a public consultation.
Our mission is to ensure that every wheelchair user gets the right chair, at the right time. Will you join us?
Can you help us to ensure that everyone gets the right wheelchair, at the right time?
By leaving a legacy gift to the Wheelchair Alliance CIC, you will be helping us in our mission to ensure that the voice of wheelchair users is heard at the highest levels.
Your gift will aid research and meaningful change in wheelchair provision, helping to ensure a more inclusive future, where independence isn't a privilege, but a promise.
