The Wheelchair Alliance, with support from the RFU Injured Players Foundation, has created a new national user-led group of wheelchair users called The Wheelchair Collective. This group will make sure lived experience shapes national strategy, policy and service improvement.
The group consists of regional representatives from the East of England, London, Midlands, North East and Yorkshire, North West, South East, South West, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. In addition, The Wheelchair Collective has also appointed a Youth Leader and Chair.
What is the Collective?
A group of wheelchair users who share insight from their regions and communities, attend quarterly online meetings, and help influence change through lived experience. One national in person event takes place each year.
